Well, after being almost dead a couple of times, I have returned. It has been a real experience this last year and a half, 19 operations, infections, gall bladder out, intestines all messed up, leaking, induced coma's, lots of fun stuff.

Moral of the story, when you figure out the way to interject youirself into a situation that a robber has a gun, take the damned gun away from him BEFORE he shoots you with it.

I have to thank my long time pal, Milton Stott, he helped me, and the shop get going again, and his wife really didn't scream bloddy murder thourgh the whole thing.

To those of you that waited so long for your conversions, without any idea of what was wrong, thank you, and I apologize for the hassles. You are simply the best of the Buick hobby.

Well Thank GOD, been so long that I started to really consider the worse; though didn't believe it. And yes, take the gun away first next time screwy

What happened"

I didn't die, so, this site aught ta' be honkin' with people asking questions, getting answers about their Buicks.

I read the V8 YAWN board yesterday, put me right to sleep, "Weise is the king of Buicks", "TA is just the best", all kinds of horse shit being slung over there to step in.

While I was trying to die, my friend Milton, posted a post asking for a picture of Weise's clone rip off of one of my distributors, and, his user name won't work any more, and, his posts were all pulled.

Great way to treat members who ask questions.

Hey, everybody, Dave's back, and ready to get to honesty and truth here, unlike over at the YAWN V8 boards.

Get to it, QUESTION UP!

Heheheh well once you were gone, nobody wanted to ask me questions ;)

As the other Dave, GK, BuickBuddy, GKsGS400 has spent his spare time tossing me/us/this forum under the bus so he could get welcomed back into the V8 site/group with open arms, then quickly sent off for reprogramming like a Chinese repatriation camp with his used ID tattooed on his right hand and forehead. rofl

Funny to see no one has post about it on V8 or the BPCB
[Buick Performance Club Blank, going fast with your cash]

Only fun things you missed were the BPCB beggin for help just days before the event again, folks will go to race but not help run the things.
Wonder why??? poke

Well , then, Matthew, we'll just have to up the ante. Whenever possible, we will have to direct people here, to get the honest, true answers, past the TA selling machine, and all the Weise ripoff clone of things like my ignition system conversions.

How about this, then, Matthew,

To ALL, no matter the web site visited, Buick, otherwise, I will now answer ANY and ALL ignition system tech questions, to anyone seeking the real, true answers for same, on this board.

I did not get banned from V8Buick, I left there because of the totalitarian owner and leadership. I had a somewhat intense altercation with someone there years ago, named "panic", that didn't just harass me, but more than a few others. Panic got permanently banned, and I was told I would receive a 1 month suspension for defending myself, but that the administration wanted me to return, to answer tech questions. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE TRUTH, NO MATTER WHAT V8BUICK ADMINS, AND ITS OWNER SAY. IT WENT DOWN JUST LIKE THAT, AND THERE ARE FORMER MODERATORS THERE THAT WILL BACK THIS UP, FULLY.

When someone gets harassed, as I did, then, would be forced into suspension for defending myself, one has a tendency to NOT want to keep visiting, let alone contribute to a site that the admins work that way.

It WAS NOT the great and good people that use that site EVERY day, but the admins and owner that came up with their little plan, hoping to fully "control" me in my answers, only promoting their agendas and politics. we,, as the clown said, "Homey Don't Play That Game".

This site doesn't work that way, it is an open site, without inuendo, without favoritism, without owners always downing other builders/manufacturers that also help on their site.

This site is open and honest, and I am sure both Matthew, and I, welcome even those admins and the owners of any and all other sites to contribute here, with their TRUE and HONEST answers for tech questions asked here.

I will also take questions off other sites, and post them, along with answers to them, and this is not copyright infringement, nor theft of personal property, as what is public, is public.

So, ask away, please, you will get the real answers to ignition system questions as I know them from 39 years of experience in working with, and developing them.

Also, a note to Jim Weise, MAN UP, GROW SOME BALLS, POST PICTURES OF YOUR SMALL BODY HEI, MSD TRIGGER AND EFI-HEI CONVERSIONS FOR POINT DISTRIBUTORS, AND LETS SEE IF YOU ACTUALLY DID RIP THE DESIGNS OFF FROM MINE, AS OTHERS HAVE SAID MORE THAN ONCE.

To others, there is a way to post pictures of them, without anyone knowing who you are. Create a separate account with a different user name and password, post the pics, then, delete the account. I am absolutely sure Matthew WILL respect/retain your full anonymity.

Well, it fully looks like our pal Weise the Weasel doesn't have the integrity, nor the guts to admit he stole my design for the small body HEI, and show us the pictures of same, to either confirm, or deny same. But, we all knew that was the way he, and his pals are, gutless.

It is amazing, whenever I come to the site, I usually am the only registered user, save Matthew, but, there are always unregistered "guests". I wonder how many of them are spies from the V8 board.

Dave,

Sure am glad to hear you're back in action!!

Sorry to hear of all the troubles you've been through since I've seen you last.

This is the first time in too long I've been over here. I was wondering why we hadn't heard any other updates from your friend Milton over on the V8 site.

I've gotten to talk to both Scott and Ivan back in LA in the last few months. Always good to hear from them.

Anyways....wishing you the best.

Is anyone posting over here anymore?

Dave - Hope you're still doing well. Would like to hear from you. If you can email or PM me with a good time to call you, that would be preferable.

Still here, but it looks like the Bozo's at V8 have successfully done this site in, and that ain't good. Evil and lies win out over truth and honesty yet again.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Remember the last time you saw me, I weighed 355 lbs. As of this morning, I weighed 189 lbs, with 14 or so more to lose, then, I can use the treadmill and two Total Gyms in the other room.

Since I moved from So. Cal. to here in Northern Nevada, I have lost track with just about everyone in the Buick community from down there. I hope they are all doing well, and are prosperous.

Dave,

That's fantastic news on the weight!! None of us needs extra lbs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was thinking you were of similar age as my Dad is (he turned 68 today).

On a business note....a friend of mine has a 383 Chevy engine and wants to get one of your conversions done. Probably a stand alone HEI, as I don't think he has an MSD.

Is your current phone # posted on your website?

Let me know if there are any points style distributors you are in need of. I know I have several older GM ones....Olds, Chevy, Caddy, Nailhead, etc.

Very good to hear from you again!! thumbs up

Look forward to talking to you in the near future.

I don't hear from Scott or Ivan nearly enough. I suppose you may heard about Robert passing.

Be well.

I've been busy of late, now down to 186 lbs, beginning to work with my treadmill and total Gym. It's till going to take some time to get to being fit again. Shooting for between 165/170 lbs, touch deal, this will need direct input, like exercise, and all that sweaty stuff.

Scott, I'd take any cores thrown at me, I don't have many to work with now, and most are either done in and/or have been run over by a tank.

Web site is still the same, davessmallbodyheis.com has e/mail link for today's mail info@davessmallbodyheis.com Phone number is there as well, cell phone now, no land line in or out, has voice mail.

Well I have been away for a long long whiles now too. First I had to put all efforts into the Virago forum as it was crashing hard all the time. Then I went down health wise for a while, didnít know you use hot and cold for a sore back. I had a heating pad strapped to my back for weeks, super inflamed nerves in my right leg and ended up on the floor in awful pain, just hoping to walk again. And IM still now 100% but allot better. And just decided to check to see if the forum was ever running right ;)

Wow, I sure hope you are better, Matthew, not good to be sick.

I haven't been around for a while, have been working for the same people I worked for in Vietnam, G-people.

We need to get the Buick community back over here, and interfacing. The less than favorable people that run V8 aren't doing anyone favors with their favoritism and balderdash.

I just saw thie post above when I logged back in, will take a look over the site for spam and other problems, but I don't see any now.

Scott, haven't heard from anyone that was referred to me from your advice, does your friend still need a conversion? If so, have him contact me.

Hope all is well with all of us still here.

And, I'll be 63 this next Monday, December 5.

Im much better now cept for being down so long bills stacked up, collection notices filed in trash, go to court next fri about one of them. Funny ha-ha they now want $45 a month payment, if I had that, I would not of defaulted on the $30 a month CC payments I did have. Course we all know banks can't do simple math.

Things seem to be running smooth here yet not much activity. We still get 100s of signs ups per day but not many have asked to be activated.
Guessing spam bots to dumb to stop trying.

I am now just back to work in the shop, having been off for a month. I got something that was not good to eat, was on the edge of bad, didn't smell it, and got serious food poisoning, which completely inflamed my gall bladder.

I got shot three times in Vietnam, and none of that combined, hurt as much as the gall bladder. The doc asked me what pain level I had, on a 1 to 10 scale, and I told her, 40, and that if she palpated the area, they'd hear me a block away. Well, she went ahead and pushed, I yelled, the entire hospital wondered why they were killing a patient. Before, there had been what I thought were 10 level pains, that turned out to be only a 3 between this 40.

The gall bladder was ready to burst when I finally got to the band aid and pill center we call a hospital here. They said that if I had been jostled around any further on the trip in, the bladder would have ruptured. It was so bad, they couldn't transfer me to a real hospital in Cartoon City or Reno, by ambulance or chopper, the trip would have killed me.

Anyway, they got me stable, and I am now back to light duty, the bladder seems OK, but, I won't chance it, when I get full healthy again, they'll chain saw the bladder out and that'll be the end of it.

What fun.
